I’m Laura Partridge-Riccobono. Together with my husband Frank and our son Roman we offer dog boarding in our home as well as other dog and horse related services.
Laura’s Dog Background
I've been training dogs as a hobby and professionally for over 26 years.
I’ve had dogs my entire life, usually more than one at a time. I always enjoyed doing things with the dogs as a child. In the 1980’s we were adopted by a Chihuahua we named Peppy. Peppy needed some training and so mom and I took Peppy to a Community Education Dog Obedience Class. I was hooked! I attended many classes and got other dogs. I showed Shadow, a Labrador Retriever mix in 4-H and fun shows. Later I bought Breeze an Australian Cattle Dog and the doggie love of my life. Breeze and I showed in 4-H, open shows, AKC and UKC. We earned titles in Obedience and Agility. We also showed in conformation and attended the first ever Dog Scout of America Camp, what fun!!
I raised two Foster Puppies for Paws With A Cause®, Winston, a Golden Retriever and Reba, an Australian Cattle Dog. I worked at PAWS® for 17 years, 8 years as a Certified Assistance Dog Trainer. I still give presentations for PAWS as an Independent Contractor.
I started teaching dog training classes in the 1990’s. I have taught 4-H, Obedience, Conformation, advanced obedience, intro to Flyball, beginning Agility, Rally, problem solving, group classes and private lessons.
